Love Orange Reconciliation

LOVE ORANGE RECONCILIATION

This reconciliation work is used to reunite a married couple who have recently split or are considering splitting. A working of this kind has the greatest chance of succeeding when it is employed right before, or immediately after, a split has taken place. Don’t let a full moon cycle go by before springing into action!

You will need:

  • One healthy, attractive orange (nothing old, shriveled, or funky-looking)
  • Two white plates
  • A sewing needle with approximately three feet of red thread
  • The petals of three fresh roses — one red, one pink, and one white
  • Ginger powder
  • Cinnamon powder
  • Lovage root
  • Periwinkle leaves
  • Honey
  • The personal concerns of each person (preferably pubic hair and head hair)
  • A brown paper bag

On a Friday morning, take the orange and slice it in half. Place the personal concerns of one person into one half and the personal concerns of the other person into the other half. Place each half on a separate white plate with the cut side down. Take the rose petals, lovage root, and periwinkle leaves, and mix them in a bowl with the ginger and cinnamon powders so that the powders coat everything. Place this “love mixture” on top of the oranges, dividing it between the two plates, equally. Place the two plates approximately three feet apart. Let them sit for the rest of Friday and all of Saturday.

On Sunday morning, recite the following verses — Mark 10:8-9, Song of Solomon 7:10, and Song of Solomon 6:3. Together, they read as:

And the twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.

I belong to my beloved, and his desire is for me.

I am my beloved’s, and my beloved is mine.

Once done with the recital, take a pinch of the love mixture from each plate and sprinkle it in a short line going towards the other plate.  Slide each plate toward the other plate. Stop sliding the plate once it is at the end of the mixture line.  Repeat this process each morning until the next Sunday.

The plates should be touching on the morning of the second Sunday. Take each half of the orange and squeeze a small dab of honey on the cut side. Smear the honey around, clockwise, around the exposed area where the two halves were once joined. Place the two halves together. Cup the reformed orange between your two hands and again recite the verses, speaking into your hands and onto the orange. Stitch the split closed with the needle and red thread. It doesn’t matter how nice it looks, just make sure the two halves are well secured. While stitching, envision the two of you living happily together for the rest of your lives. Once the orange has been put back together, place it in a brown paper bag, along with all of the love mixture from the plates and the table. Seal the bag in any way with which you are comfortable and bury it in your backyard.
